Aldermore grows infrastructure team

Aldermore has appointed Kitty Byrne as Project Finance Lead to its Energy and Infrastructure team, strengthening its specialist expertise as it expands its support for businesses and projects contributing to the UK's energy transition to a lower-carbon economy and long-term infrastructure needs.
Kitty (pictured left) joins from the Green Finance Institute, where she was most recently a Senior Associate and brings more than five years' experience across structured finance, debt advisory and sustainable investment.
In her new role, Kitty will support the continued growth of Aldermore's Energy and Infrastructure proposition, working with customers and intermediaries to help finance projects that deliver long-term economic and environmental benefits. Her appointment reflects Aldermore's continued investment in the sector and enhances the bank’s capacity to support a rapidly growing and increasingly diverse pipeline of opportunities.
Prior to joining the Green Finance Institute, Kitty was at NatWest, working across multiple structured finance and debt advisory teams. During her time there, she supported financing transactions spanning renewable energy, energy storage, transport and infrastructure sectors, developing extensive experience in complex debt structures and client relationship management.
