STAR Asset Finance, one of the UK's leading independent asset finance groups, has announced the promotion of two senior leaders from within the business, underlining the strength of its talent pool as it drives forward its growth strategy.
Effective from 1 August, Tim Tainty has been appointed Group Chief Operating Officer, and Sean Devoy (pictured left) has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Both appointments reflect the Group's commitment to building a leadership team with clear accountability and the capability to scale the business for its next chapter.
In his new role, Tim will take on a group wide remit, driving scalability, innovation, simplicity, robustness and customer experience across STAR's operating businesses, alongside continued oversight of core operational functions.
Sean, in his current role as Group Finance Director, has been instrumental in stewarding the Group's finances, will continue to lead the finance function in his new capacity as CFO, with a focus on ensuring the business remains financially strong and well positioned for growth, while proactively identifying opportunities to optimise performance.
The appointments follow the recent arrival of Jason Hurwitz as Group Chief Executive Officer, who is leading a period of renewed focus and investment across STAR Asset Finance.
