AFPA Trust invites you to get your bicycle ready for what is set to be the biggest ever asset finance industry organised cycle ride. It’s an inclusive event where professional riders will guide you no matter what your pace. Whether this is your first long cycle, you are at Team GB standard or anything in between, this iconic challenge just might be for you!
Riding from one capital city to another brings a wonderful different dimension to the start and finish lines. Starting in London, the team cycle down to catch the most luxurious ferry the English Channel has to offer. As you dock and await the ship's slipway to go down ... wait for it ... wait for it ... and go! Bonjour. You are on the way to the iconic Paris finish line.
The timetable is as follows:
Wednesday, 9 July: The riders arrive in London, check into their hotel, and meet fellow riders ahead of the grand departure.
Thursday, 10 July: The adventure begins with a 140 km ride through scenic English countryside, finishing in Calais after a ferry crossing.
Friday, 11 July: Riders cover 160 km from Calais to Amiens, enjoying stunning landscapes en route to this historic city.
Saturday, 12 July: The final 140 km stretch takes cyclists to Paris, culminating in a triumphant arrival at an iconic landmark.
Sunday, 13 July: The riders return to London via Eurostar, celebrating their achievement with new friends and lasting memories.
