Support the sale of manufacturer products through dealers within assigned territory; includes working with end users, dealers and company personnel to identify financial marketplace needs.
Support solutions through the development of strategies to fit the customer’s unique needs.
Implement, administer and measure program results.
Develop strong relationships with dealer Strategic Accounts through proactive account planning.
Coordinate quoting response and lead the process of setting up lines of credit for Strategic Accounts.
Provide leadership on transactional approvals and support dealer relationship management to ensure that issues are dealt with promptly and professionally; sharing best practices.
Assess market opportunities for entry into identified segments.
Propose joint marketing and merchandising programs to enhance sales after determining the financial needs of an identified market opportunity.
Recommend participation in tools for promotional and product support needs for identified market opportunities.
Develop and provide company and dealer training on financial products, merchandising programs and acquisition alternatives, as well as customer seminars to promote company's services in both new and existing market opportunity.
Recommend budgets to ensure that resources are available to support existing and newly created products and programs.
Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the company.
Degree educated with a minimum of 6 years' experience as a Territory Manager. (Equivalent experience may be substituted for education).
Ability to identify specific financial marketplace needs (programs or new markets).
Ability to coordinate with product, distribution and service business units to define market needs and propose joint marketing and merchandising programs to enhance sales.
Knowledge of financial statements.
Ability to develop and implement financial marketing programs (finance plans, focus programs, dealer incentive programs, etc.)
Ability to assist with quoting customer and dealer financial transactions via recommended maintenance of pricing mechanisms.
Ability to develop and conduct company and dealer sales force training and customer seminars.
Knowledge of market segments--application of equipment and acquisition needs of end users.
Working knowledge of financial marketing, its perspective with the sales process, and contribution to sales results.
Ability to travel regionally as needed.
